We’re experiencing issues uploading to our CDN provider again. This will affect the ability for users to upload via FTP or through the interface. It may also affect downloads of content that is not currently in cache on the CDN edge nodes. We’ll update this post when we have more information. UPDATE 3:20 PM EST – This issue is now fixed, all uploads are going through again and any affected downloads should be working now as well. If you had troubles uploading during the incident please try uploading your file again. Read more »

Upload Issue(s)

It appears that we’re seeing intermittent failures uploading files from our servers to our CDN provider. So when users then go to download the files they are getting very small and incomplete files served to them. We have notified our CDN provider and are in the process of working with them to get the issue resolved. While we work to resolve this we are recommending that affected users re-upload their files to the “dropbox” folder on the FTP server. If you do this and still can’t download your file please contact support@libsynsupport.com and let us know the url to the file that you are having troubles with and we’ll investigate the issue and get it fixed for you. We apologize for the troubles and appreciate your patience. Thanks -Team Libsyn UPDATE: January 20th 10AM EST – We’ve now gone roughly 14 hours without a single upload failure to our CDN provider. This issue was caused by a bad router or link along the path from our servers to our CDN’s storage. We’ve modified the route our traffic takes to avoid this trouble spot and have not seen a failed upload in our logs since. Read more »

We experienced some intermittent network connectivity issues early this morning from approx 5:30AM to 6AM EST. The issue appears to have been caused by a bug in one of our aggregation switches that was triggered by a network upgrade being done by our data center. We apologize for this issue and while the switch is functioning normally again we will be looking into replacing it avoid a similar issue in the future. Read more »
